A bit about me ...my name is BEC PENNY (first name Bec, last name Penny). Well, officially my first name is Rebecca, but that's just for legal documents or my Mum to call me when I am in trouble (ha!) ...and I'm a Sunshine Coast, Queensland based photographer who loves to capture natural, honest, real moments.

 

I am a wife and a mum to two kids, Mia (10) and Max (7) so I am pretty good at getting cheeky monkeys to warm to the idea of having their photo taken.

 

I LOVE spending time at the beach, hot coffee and all things CREATIVE. It's in my genes.
My Mum is great at anything crafty, does lots of sewing and even worked in the fashion industry back in the day. And my Dad is known to whip up custom built wooden furniture or weld one of a kind pieces from metal (he is quite the handy man!).

I have a degree (with Honors) in graphic design and have always had a PASSION for photography ...even back when the only way to see your photos involved using film and then waiting a few weeks to get your printed photos back from being developed!

I love to look back on old photos, especially the ones of my kids and seeing how much they have GROWN and changed. If my camera gear wasn't so heavy to lug around 24/7 I would have it with me every minute of the day and capture all the little MOMENTS!
